30 MIN TRIAL LESSONS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FRIDAY TO SUNDAY.

Trial Flying Lessons must be used within six months of purchase. SFC reserves the right to change bookings due to operational or weather restrictions, or due to other unforeseeable factors. These changes will be at the sole discretion of SFC. Customers so affected will be granted an extension to the six month validity. If the purchaser intends to use the voucher as a gift, it must be ensured that the recipient is medically fit. Any form of medication or medical condition should be advised before the purchase. Lower age restriction of 14 years and upper restriction of 70 years will apply.

Height / Weight Restrictions:

The following height and weight restrictions generally apply and exceptions must be requested at the time of purchase / booking: Cessna 152 Height max. 6'2" Weight max. 95 kg (15 stone) Piper PA 28 Height max. 6'5" Weight max. 108 kg (17 stone)

SFC's popular Trial Lesson gift vouchers allow the bearer to enjoy an exciting flying experience with one of our instructors. Take the controls and feel the thrill of piloting a real aeroplane under the guidance of one of our experienced instructors. (*If valid for one of our four-seater aeroplanes, a friend or relative can sit in the back while the student controls the aircraft through most stages of flight). Depending on the duration of the flight the destination is up to you - from shoreham in sussex one hour will allow you to travel as far east as Hastings, or west to the Isle of Wight or Portsmouth. Following the thrill of actually flying an aircraft by themselves, many 'gift voucher pilots' have gone on to train for the Private Pilot's Licence (PPL)- some even further, and are now Commercial Pilots! In fact, the time flown during your first flight will count towards the total hour requirement for the issue of a PPL, nothing is wasted.

Include a landing at either Bembridge or Sandown airport (your choice) - and half an hour on the ground to have a cup of tea! This "day out" makes a perfect birthday gift and the bearer will have the opportunity to experience two take-offs and landings instead of just one. All airport charges and fuel are included in the total price.
